Even though they still sell this version online, it no longer has phone support so they refuse to let me actually talk to someone real. I'm on day 3 trying to convince Roxio how to fix this as they don't seem to have a clue. Now, a few years later, I bought a new PC and can't install this because of the same problem. My profile on Roxio identifies the original key that did not work. After 4 days back and forth between Roxio and Best Buy, FINALLY Roxio gave me a new Key, to work one time, so I could install the software. But I could not find one BB store that knew anything about it.
The way it was supposed to work was they validated it at the store when you purchase. VHS-DVD 3+ purchased at Best Buy contained a 2nd BBY serial number.
